Sushi King at Alor Setar Mall

Recently there was a Sushi King opened at Alor Setar Mall. So me n my friend went to check it out after we done our shopping.

I like to eat Japanese food but sometime I just feel that it is not worth for me to go there because of the price. Anyway, once in awhile is okay for me because I like sushi, tea, and it's environment. Hehe

I dare not to compare sushi king with sakae sushi. I just state my opinion at here. Both similar expansive, for me as a student (I don't know how about other people), food wise, I feel that sushi king is more fresh and delicious. I haven't try all the foods at there yet, it is just my personal opinion. So please don't take it serious.

We ordered mixed bento, black pepper udon, tamago maki sushi, (I forgot what they call that biscuit that I holding in the picture), one litre of green tea and matcha ice cream as desert. 

All together cost us RM 35.60, including government tax and service tax. Not bad, because we felt very full on that day. The most important thing was I get to spend time with my friend that we haven't meet since after CNY until now. Hehe

So...go try okay? Hehe.

How to temporary highlight your hair with different colors?

Hello Monday~ This is second week of my semester break. So fast and I'm going back to hostel this Friday. Arg...2 weeks holiday seriously not enough for me to rest and I want more!!!

Last week basically it was my resting week, so I rest fully. Hehe, I mean, I seldom online, didn't touch my notes at all (because I want to temporary escape from my studies ^.^), seldom go out and etc. I spend most of my time with my family, eat, sleep and watch tv. Hehe, I gained few pounds during holiday, so now I have to control my diet to prevent further increase in my weight.

I admit it was a bit bored last week, staying at home and do nothing, so I took out color pastel that I bought from DAISO and start color the bottom part of my hair. Remember I highlight the bottom part of my hair last 2 weeks? It becomes lighter color so it is very easy for me to color my hair with the color pastel, and the effect is visible too. It depends on color that you choose and amount of water that you add to your hair during the coloring process.

I choose pink color because I always want my hair to be pink and it looks nice on Avril Lavigne. So I just give it a try.

What I did was: 

First, I put some water at the lower end of my hair that I want to color. Just to make it slightly wet.

Next, I dig or wet the end of the pastel. (so that it'll melt or become soft; easier for the color to stick on the hair).

Then I apply pastel on my hair. Repeat this step until you satisfied. Add more water or use small amount of water to blend out the color. If you add more water (or your hair is very wet, the outcome will be lighter).

I mix light pink and dark pink so that there will be a color gradient effect but sadly it's not that obvious to see.

Finally, comb your hair so that it is smooth and let it air dry or you also can use hair dryer.

Oh ya, make sure you wear glove and clothes that you don't want because it might get a bit dirty and messy during the coloring process.

This color effect will last as long as your hair is far away from water. If you want to remove it, simply wash it away with water. :)

So...this is how it looks closely on my hair.

You can try different colors too. You can mix more than one color on your hair if you feel that one color is not enough to make you to look cool. Hehe. It is fun and creative to play with our hair. I tried blue and green before I choose pink and blue is quite nice for my hair too.

But one thing about this pastel is, after it dry, my hair becomes very dry and very hard to comb because it tingle easily. I guess this color pastel is not suitable for long term use as it might damage our hair.

I guess it is only suitable for temporary highlight, just to look cool in front of everyone, I don't mind my hair to be dry for one day. After the event or outing, I'll try to 'rescue' my hair by doing hair treatment or something. Ya, I know, I'm so HOPELESS. Hehe

Thursday Plantation - Tea tree lotion

I have been using this Tea Tree lotion for months and I would like to share with you guys about it's effect. Few months back I receive this free sample (75mL Tea Tree lotion) from Thursday Plantation. I used it everyday since that day and I'm happy with it's rapid effect. After you apply it, immediately the dryness on your hands (or skin at other part of your body) will disappear. 

This lotion gives my palms (normally I'll apply on my hands) smooth effect and it lasts for hours. I'll apply it when I free (sometimes I just too busy to remember to apply all this product) and everynight after bath before I go to bed. 

One thing about this product is its smell. It smell like tea tree....(smell exactly like the T9 pimple gel kind of smell). Some people might not like that smell, but for me its just fine. For the price, I saw it in some of the pharmacy and the selling price is RM 49.90. A little expansive for body lotion but seriously it is effective. 

It contain natural and organic ingredients, and without any artificial preservative and synthetic coloring and fragrances. 

Try this if you looking for a product to relieve skin dryness and mild itchiness. 

Use the products which is suitable to your skin so that your skin feel good for it and so do you!

Gatsby EX HI-Bleach review

Today I want to share about Gatsby EX HI-Bleach that I used last week. I bought it at Watson, cost around RM 24++. I wanted to highlight lower part of my hair so that it looks like ombre effect, but because of my current hair color is quite yellow, so the outcome is not that obvious but I still happy with the result. Hehe

Inside the box you will found powder, cream and liquid bleaching agent. First you need to mix powder in the liquid, shake well then add cream into the mixture and shake well again. Easy right?

One bottle is enough for highlight purpose. I couldn't finish one whole bottle after I finished dye my hair and my bf hair. If you want to dye all your hair, one bottle is only sufficient for shoulder length hair. Long hair like me will need two or three bottle.

under sunlight...my hair looks extreme orange under sun light, so the gradient effect is not that obvious. =.="

After hair dye, this bleaching agent didn't affect my hair very much. I didn't face problem such as slip end or hair dry problem, I guess it is because of my hair originally already dry and fizzy, so the bleaching agent didn't  give much different to my hair. Hehe. But my bf did complained to me that his hair become dry and tingle a lot (he felt difficult to comb his hair) and he not very happy with the color because he expect for more brighter color.

As a conclusion, overall the bleaching effect is good. This product bleach my hair well, and it didn't damage my hair very much too. During hair coloring process, this product didn't give too much of bad smell (like the normal hair dye product gives strong ammonia smell), it gives quite presence but strong smell. 10 to 20 minutes is sufficient to see it's effect, unless you want lighter color, then you can leave it up to 30 minutes. But  it shouldn't more than 30 minutes, or else it might damage your hair.

The remaining of the mixture have to throw away because it is explosive. I leave it on the table and after 3 hours, there was lots of bubble coming out from the bottle....non stop. I got scared so immediately I wash away all the balance and discard the bottle.
